Free Citizenship Classes

Have you had your Green Card for at least five years?  Consider citizenship.

Beginning October 4th, Otis Library will provide free Citizenship Classes every Wednesday from 4pm - 7pm for twelve weeks.  Learn about U.S. history and civics to prepare for the citizenship exam.  Books, videos and study materials will be provided.  An Immigration Lawyer will be available during some classes to answer your questions.  Applicant must commit to attend all twelve weeks, provide their green card, and read, speak and comprehend basic English.  To register, call (860) 889-2365, ext. 110, or e-mail Bassem Gayed, Multicultural Services Coordinator, at bgayed@otislibrarynorwich.org.
